” Grafting is something everyone needs to learn. It’s a technique where you copy a tree’s DNA to ensure a good quality of fruit ”

-Teacher

EMILIE, 1ST MAIN COURSE

”Integrating more trees in our agricultural production is necessary. It is good for the soil, for the climate and for the economic resiliency of a farm.

You are taught by Claude, who’s a french wizard when it comes to fruit and nut trees. He believes strongly in hands-on learning, but will also answer whatever question you might have regarding trees.

It is therefore a really good class to deepen your understanding of trees and how they work. How they transport water and sugars, how diseases affect them, and when and why you do different things in a year.

You will also visit Claude’s nursery, which is a jungle paradise in his backyard, where he’s grafting, growing trees and experimenting with finding new frost-resistant breeds of fruits you would never expect to see in Denmark.

You will discover a different and alternative type of farming business, that can be done without big investments in land and machinery.”
