Located in Fort Worth, Texas. Th is museum was designed around the existing buildings on site. Th e Modern Art Museum, and Kimball Art Museum are located directly to the North and West sides of the site. Th e repetition from these buildings created a pattern for my design.

Designing for the blind community, this design was centered around heightened senses, non visual. Allowing for a quiet location on the exterior of the building and a materialized design for effi cient navigation throughout the interior.

Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth Kimball Art Museum

Th e repetition of my design was focused around mimicking both museums surrounding the site. Keeping the pattern simple and creating a grid within the space. Th e tree centrally located on the site was kept to be used as a key part of my design, and left open to the outside.
