Herefordshire Arts Education Consortium The Courtyard are working in partnership with Herefordshire’s Arts Education Consortium to deliver a wide-range of arts workshops and projects for schools in Herefordshire. Joining the consortium gives schools free workshops and teacher INSET spaces for Courtyard projects. Education Projects Shakespeare in the Primary Classroom Led by Education Officer, David Durant, these sessions will explore the structure and main themes of your chosen Shakespeare text for KS2 and can be followed up with extra workshops exploring the main characters and a stage combat workshop! For more information please contact David on 01432 346532. Roald Dahl Literacy Project Working with the education team your class will undertake a five week project exploring one of Dahl’s texts. The Sylvia Short Educational Charity provides funding to cover the cost of transport for Herefordshire schools to attend educational activities at The Courtyard. If your school is attending a workshop or performance and you need to cover the cost of your transport please contact Grant Brisland on 01432 346535. All funds must be approved in advance of your visit.

Our workshops are an ideal way of kick-starting your history project or to look at a particular aspect of the project you want to creatively explore.
