Wedding Guidelines
To help you prepare for your perfect day, please see the following event guidelines from Viceroy Los Cabos.
Wedding Guestroom Accommodations
To confirm a wedding event at the hotel, a contracted room block is required.
Complimentary accommodations for the bride and groom on the night of the wedding may be provided based on the contracted room block and minimum spend.
A minimum-night stay requirement may apply for guests attending the event.
Menu Selection & Banquet Event Orders (BEOS)
Menu selection must be finalized and confirmed with the Event Manager at least 20 days in advance to ensure availability due to the seasonality of ingredients.
A Banquet Event Order (BEO) is required to be signed no later than 15 days before the event, confirming all details, including menu selections, pricing, guaranteed attendance, and room setup. This serves as the financial guarantee for the event.
Requests for increases or substitutions to be submitted at least 72 hours in advance and are subject to availability and approval.
Groups of 10 or more must pre-select a menu. Without prior arrangements, the hotel reserves the right to set a hote pre-selected menu.

Menu pricing and fees are subject to change without notice.
Children’s meals (ages 3–10): $55++ per person.
Vendor meals (chef’s choice): $55++ per person.
Special or themed menus are available upon request and subject to chef approval.

Available exclusively for confirmed weddings at the hotel.
Scheduled on weekdays only (not on weekends or public holidays) at 1:00 PM.
Limited to 2 attendees (wedding couple), along with the Wedding Planner and Events Manager. Additional attendees are charged $80 per person.
Tasting of active stations, buffet items, or special thematic menus may not be available for sampling.
Tastings must be confirmed at least 20 days in advance, with changes or cancellations communicated 72 hours prior to avoid charges.
Taxes, Fees, and Charges
Prices are listed in USD and subject to a 16% tax and an 18% service charge (non-taxable).
Staffing Fees
Chef Attendant: $120 per chef.
Presentation Attendant: $120 per attendant.
Bartender: $120 per bartender.
Events starting at 10:00 PM or later incur an additional staffing fee of $120 per staff member.
Live stations, buffets, or special menus require chef attendance.

Event Timelines
Events must conclude by 10:30 PM, per Federal and FONATUR regulations.
After-parties can be arranged in indoor private spaces upon request.
Music and entertainment must comply with local noise ordinances and conclude by 10:30 PM.
Hours of Scheduled Events
Evening events include 4 hours of event time (5 hours if a wedding ceremony is included) and must be concluded by 10:30 PM.
Overtime fees: $1,500 per venue, with a maximum extension of 1:00 AM at Awacate Restaurant and 3:00 AM in the Ballroom.
Guarantee of Attendance
Final attendance guarantee must be provided at least 20 days prior to the event, as specified in the signed BEO. This number is final, non-reducible, and used for billing.

Vendors
All services, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, Hair, Makeup & Beauty, Nanny Services, Medical Services, and Fireworks, must be contracted through the hotel. External vendors are not permitted for these services.
Open flames, glitter, confetti, and adhesives that may damage surfaces are not allowed.
Deliveries
Deliveries such as envelopes, gifts, or boxes to the front desk or guest rooms incur a delivery charge, as per union labor requirements.
Deposit & Billing Schedule
A 25% deposit is required, based on the venue rental fee and food and beverage minimum, including applicable taxes and service charges.
Deposits are due within 7 business days along with the signed Catering Sales Agreement to confirm the booking.
Wedding Planners
To ensure a flawless event, a professional wedding planner is required to assist with rehearsal, ceremony, and reception details. A full-service package with a minimum of three (3) months of coordination is mandatory.
