Science Pathway in Chemistry Associate of Arts and Sciences Degree
There is a tremendous demand for those with scientific training in business, industry, government, and the health care professions. The Science Pathway in Chemistry program is designed for students who are preparing to transfer into a chemistry, biochemistry or forensic program at a four-year college or university. This program is currently approved for Radford University.
Program Length 2 years (4 semesters)
Transfer Objectives Chemistry, Education, PreChiropractic, Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Medicine, Nursing Science, Health & Physical Education, Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Veterinary Medicine.

Tuition & Fees At only $162.11 per credit hour, you’ll save $10K to $22K, in tuition costs alone, by starting at VHCC! Out-of-state students living within a 30-mile radius qualify for in-state tuition.
Davis studied Chemistry at Valparaiso University in Indiana and has her Masters in Chemistry from the University of Illinois. Before teaching, Davis worked in quality control chemistry at Merck Pharmaceuticals. She has been teaching at VHCC for over 20 years.
