With the rapid development of business and industry, there is a great demand for qualified personnel in office occupations. This program is designed to prepare you for full-time employment immediately upon completion. Students who are seeking their first employment in an office setting, as well as, those who are seeking a promotion may benefit from this program.

Program Length 2 years (4 semesters) Career Opportunities Medical office assistant, medical secretary/administrative assistant, medical records and health information technician.

Tuition & Fees At only $162.11 per credit hour, you’ll

save $10K to $22K, in tuition costs alone, by starting at VHCC! Out-of-state students living within a 30-mile radius qualify for in-state tuition. Lee Hunt recently joined VHCC as the Dean of Professional and Technical Studies. Having worked for Fortune 500 companies, she has experienced first-hand the efficiency, professionalism, and productivity that a capable office manager, executive assistant, or legal assistant can bring to today’s modern workplace, and possesses real-world knowledge about what it takes to make a student successful in the classroom as well as their careers after they graduate.
