Associate of Applied Science Degree Think you might be interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement or corrections? This Criminal Justice program is designed to prepare you for careers and leadership roles in the field of criminal justice. Appropriate for entering students or the experienced officer, this program focuses on specific aspects of courts, corrections and law enforcement. Upon completion, you are prepared for career service, advancement in your field or transfer to a four year program. While completing the AAS Degree, students will also complete the Foundations of Criminal Justice Career Studies Certificate and either the Corrections or Law Enforcement Career Studies Certificate.

and fees for Virginia residents of modest income who are pursuing high demand careers.

Tuition & Fees At only $162.11 per credit hour, you’ll

save $10K to $22K, in tuition costs alone, by starting at VHCC! Out-ofstate students living within a 30-mile radius qualify for in-state tuition.

Robin Widener has a B.A. in Sociology, an M.S. in Criminal Justice, and an M.A. degree in Human Services Counseling: Crisis Response and Trauma. She has over 27 years of experience in the Criminal Justice System and is a guest instructor for several state and local organizations.
