Clinical thought leadership and product development
Recently, a Registered Nurse evaluated a patient with a right ankle fracture, and initially recommending one Skilled Nursing visit per week for 9 weeks. However, upon peer review, HOMELINK found that the documentation did not sufficiently demonstrate the medical necessity for these visits. After discussion with the nurse supervisor, it was determined that further Skilled Nursing visits were not required, and the evaluation was amended to reflect this decision.
