INDIAN RIVER COUNTY Saturday, June 16 4th Annual Veterans Outreach Golf Tournament, hosted by the Veterans Council of Indian River County, at Sandridge Golf Club. Registration 7 a.m. with tee off at 8 a.m., with a scramble format on the Dunes course. Lunch and awards immediately follow. Proceeds go toward replacement of the buses that transport veterans to the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. Curtis Paulisin, Board member in charge of the tournament said “the tournament gets bigger and better each year. In addition to raising funds, it is an opportunity for veterans young and old to enjoy camaraderie

ST. LUCIE COUNTY Sunday, June 3 Annual Vets at the Mets, sponsored by Knights of Columbus St. Francis of Assisi Assembly 4th Degree. Staging: Starbucks, 1789 St Lucie West Blvd., Port St. Lucie, 10:30 a.m. KSU: 1115 hours to Ride to Digital Domain Stadium (Escorted). Escort open to all Bikers and Motorcycle Clubs Veterans will be bused up from the VA Hospital in West Palm Beach and a veteran will throw out the first pitch. As in the past, we will ride on to the field for the opening ceremony on the warning track and will stage in the outfield. Anyone wishing to stay for the game there will be tickets

available at the staging area (Starbucks) the day of the game. Tickets are $4 per person. Proceeds will go to Veteran Programs sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.
