GLEN CIVIDANES Disabled U.S. Navy Veteran, Seaman, Glen Cividanes served our country in 1991 until he was injured in 1992 while aboard the USS Kitty Hawk CV-63. He was a boiler tech in 4 MMR (Main Machine Room). After dealing with a fire in number 2 engine room he had fallen through an open hatch in the floor panel. Glen is very disappointed that he was unable to continue his service after his accident; however, he does have fond memories of taking the Kitty Hawk from a dry dock in Philedelphia, PA around the horn to San Diego, CA. Glen’s was proudest when wearing his uniform.
