NATIONAL PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM 2023

Let’s Join Forces to End Veteran Homelessness.

Veterans Community Project (VCP) was founded in 2016 by a group of combat Veterans in Kansas City, Missouri who determined to stand in the gaps of a broken system that left too many of our brothers and sisters behind.

Since it’s grassroots beginning, VCP has been the community’s project. We are funded and fueled by an army of supporters who are passionate about serving those who served our country.

Together, we have developed and executed an innovative temporary housing model that effectively solves Veteran homelessness.

To date, we have experienced an extraordinary 85% success rate for transitioning formerly homelessness Veterans into their own sustainable, permanent housing solutions.

With the success of this model comes the opportunity to grow its impact. VCP is quickly becoming the nation's project.

We currently have tiny home Villages in Kansas City, MO; Longmont, CO; Sioux Falls, SD; and St. Louis, MO. Soon, we will have boots on the ground in Milwaukee, WI; Glendale, AZ; and Oklahoma City, OK.

Our corporate partners are a critical part of this effort, allowing us to respond swiftly and efficiently to the needs of each community.

To end Veteran homelessness across the nation; however, we also need the broader reach and influence of national allies.

We are actively seeking corporations whose strength and impact can advance this mission further than we can accomplish alone.

Please join us. Together we can make a decisive impact on our fight to end Veteran homelessness.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and care.

Respectfully,

Veterans Community Project of Kansas City

Being a Veteran in the United States makes you 50% more likely to become homeless than those who haven’t served in the military.

Aerial refueling increases the operational range and endurance of aircraft that must remain airborne for extended periods of time. With the support of tankers such as the KC-135, fighter jets, bombers, and other strategic aircraft are no longer limited by their own fuel capacity.

VCP's national corporate partners are much like a Stratotanker , extending our mission's reach and impact beyond our operational range. The broader resources, influence, and manpower of our national refueling wing amplifies the efforts of VCP's community partners, as well.

Unlike many Veteran service organizations, VCP serves every man or woman who took the oath, regardless of VA-eligibility or discharge status.

"When I stepped into that house and had my own things after being homeless for 4 or 5 years ... it was almost too good to be true.

Simply put, our national corporate partners are force multipliers.

National Partnerhip Program Features.

In aerial refueling, success is dependent on both aircraft flying in tight formation until their shared objective is achieved.

VCP's National Partnership Program functions much in the same way.

Together, we will create and execute a plan that aligns with your corporate goals and amplifies the transformative impact of your partnership.

Whether a monetary investment or a donation of critical, in-kind products or services, your fuel expands our capacity to deliver programs in existing VCP communities and propels our expansion nationwide.

"Burns & McDonnell employs veterans across the country, so serving veterans in our communities is not just our duty, it’s personal."

"Veterans United Foundation is excited to help Veterans Community Project get its start in St. Louis, We look forward to the great work VCP will do helping Veterans get back on their feet in the community, just as they have across the state in Kansas City.

With our own expanding presence in St Louis, we are excited that we get to continue our work with VCP and we encourage other companies to partner with this great organization, too."

"One of the obstacles we face is sourcing tools so our volunteers can help us build. Milwaukee Tool stepped up with pallets of nailers, drills, battery packs, and other hand tools to help us work faster, safer, and more efficiently. We are proud to show off their amazing products and our volunteers love using them."

"We are always looking for ways to give back to the communities where we do business, and we are inspired by the mission of Veterans Community Project, Our aim is to provide exceptional products that not only simplify the build, but more importantly provide long-term sustainability for the village and organization.”
