INSIDE BUSHING IN MAIN PIVOT POINT (28MM OD) The main pivot point has an aluminum bushing, 28mm in diameter, to hold the 15mm ball bearings on both sides. Two conical parts add rigidity and watertightness as you tighten the main screw up. As a result, you get a precise, durable and noiseless bicycle.
DOWNTUBE CABLE HIGHWAY The Downtube Cable Highway routing solution keeps things tidy and simple in the new Occam29. The cables run along the upper part of the down tube, which prevents interaction with both the suspension system and the pedaling. The derailleur cable runs inside all along. The rear brake and gear cables run on the outside of the tube. This way, the bike gets rid of cable rub in the main pivot point, and the lower part of the tube allows for placing a protector or carrying the bike up impossible trails.
