a playa de El Palmar pertenece al termino municipal de Vejer, su arena es fina y dorada y es una de las playas más grandes de toda la comarca de La Janda. Su superficie es de 4.200 metros de longitud con una anchura media de 80 metros en muchas de sus zonas. Sus aguas son muy limpias, cristalinas y de poca profundidad. La Playa de El Palmar obtiene la "Q" de calidad Turística que ha sido otorgada por el Instituto para la Calidad Turística Española. Se considera la mejor playa para practicar Surf de Andalucía, dicen que su oleaje, su suave clima durante todo el año, los diferentes tipos de vientos y consistencia , hacen que sea un lugar perfecto para el aprendizaje y perfeccionamiento del Surf. he beach of El Palmar belongs to Vejer municipality. Its sand is smooth and golden and it is one of the largest beaches of all the region of La Janda. Its surface is 4.200 m long, and an average width of 80 m in many of its areas. Its water is clean, crystalline and of little depth. The Beach of El Palmar has got the “Q” certification for Tourist Quality by the Spanish Institute for Tourist Quality. It is considered the best beach to practise surf of all Andalusia, and it is said to be the perfect place to learn and improve surf because of its waves, its smooth weather all along the year, and the different kind of winds and consistency.
