A twin to her sister, and one of six children, they have traveled the world for over 20 years as her dad served in the Army. Jodie believes that success is measured by the difference you make in others’ lives. Being the CEO of a company is meaningless if you treat your staff and/or employees poorly. The year 2020 was one of the highest hurdles she had to go through. COVID-19 put everyone ingreatpanic,anditdidputher perseverance to the test. It’s like your life was slowly being taken away from you. In March of that year, she lost a significant number of acting gigs that she was looking forward to. But that was nothing compared to what happened several months after–she lost her dad. Jessica witnessed as the lengthy illness tookherdadawayfromher.
Shattered, depressed, and lost, are some of the few words that could best describe the pain that she went through. Its huge impact on her started questioning her own purpose. What’s the point of doing anything? Sadness really drowned her and it took her months to reach back up to the surface. She has learned that shecannotjustacceptthatthat was the end, but rather a huge sadpause.
You have to know yourself, and what you value most. Success could mean something different for everyone. Don’t measure yourself to other people. What makes one person happy may do nothing for you. I think if you wake up in the morning, like yourself, and are content with your life the way it is, then you are successful.

This past year, when masks became the mandatory accessory she had an anaphylactic shock. It was caused by an allergic reaction to the vaccine God said her journey’s not yet to end there. A miracle saved her life. She heard God’s whisper in her ear, then that gave her strength to get up, and then she rushed herself to the emergency room and then longstoryshort,shesurvived.
She is now in a 20-year career of service in the nonprofit and social justice arena. It also houses 7 volcanos and 2 of them are still considered active Due to the presence of these volcanoes, which reach heights of 1800 meters, the island receives a plentiful supply of water from a number of hot and cold springs spread around the island. Rivers are creating waterfalls like the Katibawasan Falls, where the water cascades down from heights of up to 76 meters in the middle of a tropical rainforest. Her favorite Vegas memory would be their marriage in 2008, which took place at the Stratosphere. Here is where she said, “yes” when Ken popped the question.
