Please note the following updates: Providers must submit claims for EVV services through HHAeXchange HHAeXchange. Beginning July 1, 2023, providers who attempt to submit claims for EVV services through the Vaya Provider Provider Portal Portal will receive the following message: “Service requires EVV. Must be submitted through
HHAeXchange ”
Vaya has added 1915(i) service codes to the Provider Portal. When submitting an authorization request, select the HCBS template HCBS template, select 1915(i) 1915(i) as the authorization type, and enter the service code under “add services.”

North Carolina’s 1915(i) Waiver State Plan Amendment (SPA) has been approved by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), NCDHHS announced today Behavioral health, intellectual/ developmental disability (I/DD), and traumatic brain injury (TBI) services offered under the 1915(i) authority will go live on July 1, 2023 For more information, review the memo linked below:

This free, virtual course provides 11 contact hours of training related to System of Care and the CFT process; gives parents, caregivers, and professionals an overview of CFT meetings from the family’s perspective; and teaches strategies and facilitation skills to support children, youth, and families
To receive credit for the training, participants must attend both full days and have their camera on with audio capability Preference will be given to members and providers within the Vaya region. Only three people from each provider organization may register.
