The Firm
The office of V&V interior design services, located in Nicosia, is comprised of dedicated design professionals committed to producing design of the highest quality, marked by conceptual innovation, investigation of materiality, and a strong attention to detail. Every project is approached as a unique challenge, and the work ranges in scale from the small (furniture design and layout) to the very large (Hotels, offices). The firm provides a variety of design services (interior design, lighting design, landscape design, furniture design etc.) on projects throughout Cyprus. To each of these projects the office brings anexploratory attitude to the investigation of space and materiality, and a concern for issues of performance of the space over time, both functionally and environmentally. The firm’s work spans over a period of 15 years and has been published in many design publications.
The Designer
Xenia Vatiliotou serves as the firm’s lead designer and principal-in-charge. She has long and broad experience in the field of interior designing and an excellent track record. She has graduated from the North London University, as an Interior Designer in 1987, following one-year foundation course at Barnet College, London. Upon completion of her studies she worked with Costas Papaleontiou Interior Design office, for a period of two years an Interior Designer. During 1990 she opened her own interior design office in partnership with another colleague. In 1996 she established V&V Consultancy services after her partner’s decision to withdraw from the business. Xenia Vatiliotou is a member of the Professional, Cyprus Designers Association.

The old and the new “16� is a small cafe that combines vintage and traditional elements with modern and fun details
A bygone era The design focuses on highlighting all the nostalgic details of the existing shop and mixing rough materials like a concrete bar and dark wood shelves, with soft lighting and calm colors
Attention to lighting The loosely hanging cords are connected to individual lamps that highlight the anomalies of the stone and create a playfull result.

The lights at the bathroom were simple bulbs with handdrawn scetches of traditional and iconic lights
The colorfull chairs were picked up from an old storage and reupholstered with this retro flowery pattern.

The Way We Work
In V&V interiors, it is our goal to present our work in a comprehensive way that will inspire and excite our client. Our aim is to deliver what we promise so we are not afraid to share every detail of our vision from the very beginning, keeping no secrets or surprises. Our presentations include 3D images, drawings in Photoshop, mood boards with materials and furniture selections and of course detailed architectural drawings. We see every project as a great journey and the client is travelling with us!
