Fall R South Josie Nieh || Treasurer From spirit battles to going on rides to taking pictures, Fall Rally South was one of the best days I’ve ever had. I made so many new friends and I got to reunite with old friends from other schools. The whole day I got to see the true size of not just 30 south, but Key club in general. I was able to experience the competition and love for each person’s division, but also the love everyone had for random people, no matter what division. The process leading up to fall rally was undeniably time-consuming, with all the spirit nights. However, I enjoyed every bit of it. I grew closer to so many of my friends not just on cabinet; also people from other schools in 30 south, and general members, from all grades. I have a lot of close senior friends, and spending the whole day with them at six flags with the club and division I love most was all I could ask for. Especially since so many of them are busy in the midst of college app season and they can rarely find time to go out, it was so nice to be able to be with them, not just at fall rally, but at all the spirit nights leading to it as well. There was so much spirit and adrenaline around me wherever I went, and it intensified my passion and dedication to Key Club in both regards of service and spirit. If I could have another “key club moment”, it would without a doubt be at the spirit session, when I couldn’t even hear myself screaming at the top of my lungs because everyone around me was so loud. Winning the spirit stick just made it that much better, and it strengthened my love for my division even more. Laughing uncontrollably for no reason with my division friends in line, going on rides with my best friends from cabinet, more spirit chants while we were walking to the bus to leave, and belting Hamilton lyrics in the bus will be memories that I will never forget; it was the best first fall rally I could ever ask for. It left me with a stomach ache because I laughed too much, and a lost voice because I screamed too much and too loud, but I loved every single part of it. It’s almost impossible to put into words how happy I was the whole day, and I already can’t wait until next year<3
