alpha gamma phi F o u n d e d in 1957, a n d getting r e a d y f o r t h e 50-year r e u n i o n of its f o u n d i n g m e m b e r s , A l p h a G a m m a Plii grew o n c a m p u s d u r i n g the 2009-2010 school year. With the r u s h t h e m e " T h e r e ' s No Place Like H o m e , " Alpha Phi was excited to begin the school year, with h o p e s of g r o w i n g b o t h as a n organization a n d a sisterhood. In the fall, Alpha G a m m a Phi d o u b l e d the size of the organization by welcoming f o u r new w o m e n into the sorority, a n d d o u b l e d once again w h e n it welcomed six m o r e s t r o n g Alpha Phi w o m e n in the spring. " T h e closeness that we all feel, even j u s t after a s h o r t time, is incredible. Each m e m b e r feels this is truly their h o m e away f r o m h o m e , " A n n a Pizzimenti ('10) said. After welcoming the new m e m b e r s . Alpha G a m m a Phi got right to work, s p e n d i n g time with each o t h e r a n d their b r o t h e r s , the Knickerbockers. T h e y were able to b r i n g a new Miracle family into Dance M a r a t h o n . Each m e m b e r was excited to m e e t Noelle a n d looked f o r w a r d to a c o n t i n u a t i o n of the relationship. I h e organization also recently f o r m e d a b o n d with F r e e d o m Village, a n d spent time m a k i n g Valentines Day c a r d s for the residents. "We look f o r w a r d to b u i l d i n g a b o n d with t h e m ; it's a m a z i n g to see how h a p p y such a simple t h i n g makes these people," C h a n n a G r e b e ('13) said. \\ ith the 2009-2010 school year e n d i n g on a s t r o n g note.
