ONE STOP TRUCK CENTRE: FROM PURCHASE TO DELIVERY Van Vliet Trucks specializes in supplying consignments of vehicles at very short notice. Van Vliet is able to meet these extremely tight schedules because all the work is done within the organization itself. Van Vliet operates under the name ”One Stop Truck Centre” - everything under one roof - from purchasing the vehicle and having all the necessary modifications done, through to taking delivery. You need a hundred of the same vehicles at short notice? Van Vliet delivers right in time! CUSTOMIZED TRUCKS An important aspect of this is the skill and flexibility of a highly experienced team of mechanics. Van Vliet Trucks has the disposal of modern workshop facilities employing more than forty mechanics. The critical points of every vehicle are checked by an inspection team and parts are replaced where necessary. Any special requirements can be catered for: modifications, bodywork, installing hydraulic cranes, dumpers, dismountable bodies, refrigeration units, complete mobile workshops, lengthen or shorten the chassis of trucks and tractor units, respraying, lettering etc. The customer only has to ask and Van Vliet will carry out. MAINTENANCE AND TRAINING ON THE SPOT Van Vliet can also supply experienced manpower to instruct drivers and mechanics on the spot. Van Vliet can supply a mechanic with a service vehicle, on a secondment basis, to give local drivers and mechanics a technical training course in the maintenance and repair of the vehicles. Maintenance, above all, is crucial. Once maintenance is properly organized, there should be little further need for repairs. The mechanic will also familiarize the drivers with the vehicles and give them a short but effective course of driving instruction. In short, Van Vliet will see to it that the supplied equipment continues to function properly. PROJECT SUPPLY AND FLEET MANAGEMENT For various organizations (GO/NGO’s), Van Vliet offers a complete service in the management of their fleet. This begins with the storage of their vehicles and parts in a separate area and the associated inventory control. In addition, Van Vliet takes care of all worries related to modifications and delivery, such as priority scheduling of tasks in the workshops and the curb of vehicles; preparation and adaptation of vehicles for use in some countries and under certain circumstances; performing logistical tasks and transporting the vehicles to the country, anywhere in the world; if desired the recall of vehicles after a project and recovering them for new tasks. ISO 9001 GUARANTEED QUALITY The quality system of Van Vliet is concerned with manufacturing and supplying products and services in accordance with the requirements, laid down in the international quality standard ISO 9001. The specified requirements focus first and foremost on achieving customer satisfaction by preventing non-conformities at all stages; from manufacture to servicing. Van Vliet Trucks has developed a separate specialization in designing and assembling mobile workshops, service trucks, lubricating trucks and tool compartments. These special constructions can be assembled on all makes and types of trucks, pick-ups, trailers and drawbar trailers; and for example in transportable container units. The design is fully in line with the desires of the customer. Anything is possible such as a crane or winch installation, generator, compressor, work bench, welding equipment, battery charger, grinding machine, drill, hand tools, tool boxes, lubrication systems, oil barrels, fuel tanks, etc.

In the course of the years Van Vliet Trucks has assisted in a great many projects in the field of public cleansing, waste disposal, sewer maintenance and road maintenance worldwide. And this with customers in all areas such as the authorities, municipal services and independent subcontractors. Environmental service trucks can include refuse collectors or garbage trucks, sweepers, cesspool emptiers, vacuum pumps, spraybar trucks, container vehicles with pick-lock or gantry system, sand and salt spreaders, etc.

At Van Vliet the understanding of “passenger transport� goes much further than the city bus. Van Vliet thinks flexible and provides what the customer needs: from the simple to ultra-luxurious and from 5 to 70 persons. SUV, MPV, 4WD, minibus, midibus, coach or city bus. To transport distinguished persons we can, for example, fit out a VIP bus with writing desks, leather seats and communication facilities. For poorly accessible areas we can convert 4x4 or 6x6 drive trucks with benches or seats. We can supply all the vehicles mentioned armoured for use in high-risk areas.

Van Vliet Trucks provides all imaginable tanker trucks for the transport of water, bulk goods, fuels and liquid gases. This also includes aircraft tankers, road tankers and tank trailers with pumps. The tank capacity varies from 1,000 litres to 40,000 litres. Tanker trucks can be assembled with completely new pump installations, hose reels and counters. Van Vliet also supplies separate tank units; with or without pump; new or used. Tank units can be assembled on the chassis of all makes and types of trucks and trailers.
