Van Teal continually strives to redefine lighting by blending timeless design, art and contemporary styling with a unique and eclectic look that resonates in any home. Many companies follow trends and styles; however, we choose to set them and ensure our collection of unique lighting and décor will integrate seamlessly into contemporary, traditional, transitional or modern settings. Van Teal, founded in 1976 by Cuban born artist Hivo Van Teal and his wife Estela, originally focused on acrylic décor. As demand for Hivo’s unique designs quickly grew he decided to give his creations not just beauty but functionality, thus creating Van Teal Lighting. Today, after 43 years in business, what started as an artistic venture between husband and wife has grown to include their children, grandchildren, extended family, longstanding employees and a dealer network spanning the globe.
