things in common that could complement each other we decided to stay together. We have been together ever since. Who inspired you to go into music? Ydee: I love 2face music. His music is inspirational. I love Dbanj and Wizkid too. Miko: Nigerian music inspired me to go into music. For me, I went into music after listening to 2Face’s African Queen. It was so inspirational that it made me see that Nigerian music could go far and then I knew you could make money through Nigerian music How would you classify your style of music? Our style of music is Afro-hip-hop and dancehall party. We do songs that will inspire people and when you hear it, you feel it. We come out with the best. How did the name Triple T come about? It was a big achievement working with Timaya and we’re really grateful and we hope to do more things with other musicians

Tero. We did Legge with Timaya and now we just decided to do our own without featuring anybody. So we have Langbasa. How was it like working with Timaya? Ydee: Working with Timaya was a good experience. Timaya is very talented. So working with him gives me encouragement and makes me want to work harder. To work with a big artiste like Timaya is not an easy thing. You have to summon courage and make sure that you’ve prepared yourself for the industry. So it’s a nice thing working with Timaya. Miko: It was a dream come true because Timaya is one of the biggest musicians in Nigeria. He inspired us. Me and Ydee learnt a lot from him; like how to compose a set while recording, all those things. It was a big achievement working with Timaya and we’re really grateful and we hope to do more things with other musicians.
