HE grand finale of the most popular musical reality show project Fame has been slated for today in Lagos. The degree of excitement, extraordinary musical craftsmanship and entertainment, in the past weeks, leaves the show ’s

teeming audience yearning for more from the six contestants.,who Joke Silva, the Principal of the musical reality show’S academy, referred to as ‘the powerful six’. Olawale, Immaculate, Omolayo, Rowland, Margaret and Niniola ensured their extraordinary talents and nine weeks of hard-work were not a waste. Confronted with the ingenuity of the twelve other

contestants, at this year’s edition of the MTN Project Fame West Africa, the six finalists delivered, week-in-week-out, with admirable gusto and great musical performances that had the academy’s panel of judges, faculty members and the audience spread over the entire West African sub-region, commending their craftsmanship. Also, celebrities and hip-hop stars continue to shower encomiums on the contestants. Banky W said, ‘this year ’s contestants performed as if they were superstars already’. Even Wizkid, who doubles as Pepsi and MTN brand ambassador, admitted this much: ‘these guys are good’.

the fans with their electrifying performances and dance steps in the season seven grand finale of the popular family dance show , Maltina Dance All, which was sponsored by Nigerian breweries to emerge the winner.

This year's edition was tagged, “Evolution”. The show could be said to have lived up to its billings by fans after a light entertainment all sponsored by the brand, Maltina. Comedian “Laff up” of stand up Nigerian never allowed the audience to get bored as he kept cracking rib breaking jokes just to light up the fans. There was also a slight dancing competition among children there present and a package was given to the winner and the runner ups as well. FTER dropping such hits as “Omotena, Skibo, Oluchi ft. Flavour and Knockout', Solidstar is set to rule the airwaves again as he concludes plans to drop his highly anticipated second studio album come October 1. The album is being dropped to mark the nation's 53 independence celebration. Already, pundits are optimistic that the starstudded album titled, “Grace & Glory” has what it takes to revolutionize the nation’s hip hop scene. The 22 track album,featured some of the nation's finest acts including Olamide, Flavour, Timaya, Inyanya, Xcellente, Vector among others. Signed onto Achievas Entertainment, Solidstar explains that 'One Nigeria” is a unity song that is, “specially dedicated to the centenary celebration of the country as an entity, ahead of next year ’s celebration. “It is our little contribution to the unity, peace and love that our nation needs, especially at this critical moment.” Commenting on the album which will be marketed and distributed by Obaino Music, CEO of Achievas Entertainment, Mr. Paul Cole Chiori (Ossy) stated that the album was a follow up to Solidstar ’s debut entitled “One In A Million.” “He showed class and maturity in his delivery and lyrics. Solidstar has been growing from strength to strength in the music business and we are very proud of his humble achievements so far.” Youthful Ossy, further disclosed that two hot videos would soon hit the airwaves alongside a •Solidstar show at O2 Arena in London on October 6.
