o m i n a t i n g blogosphere in the last couple of weeks has been the heroine of the medical profession Adadevoh, who passed on in controversial circumstances last week at the apex of the Nigerian Ebola crisis. If nowhere else, Dr. Adadevoh has been honoured and immortalized in blogosphere. A commentator writes:
Kind, beautiful, Dr Ameyo Adadevoh held fort for us. She refused to allow Mr Sawyer leave First Consultants Hospital even when the Liberian ambassador pressured her to release him. Imagine what would have happened if she had let him go. Ebola would have been much more widespread than what we are dealing with now.

he much awaited State of Osun elections have come and gone, but controversy lingered. Spokesperson, Department of State Security, Marilyn Ogar, has said that some politicians in Osun State offered operatives of the service N14 million bribe to compromise the polls.
Ogar who did not name the politicians, explained that the service rejected the bribe which she said was offered to the DSS Director, who supervised the August 9,2014 election. She said, I am saying to you that the director in charge of election duty as it pertains to DSS was asked to come and collect N4 million for himself, and N10 million for the hooded men. Because the money was declined, that is the offence the DSS has committed. People should stop using money to entice security forces; the Federal Government has the capability to take care of us, when the time comes, we will talk. She adds, We are well paid, I will say it categorically, our operations are well funded.” The DSS Deputy Director explained that the service was given N200 million by the government to provide security for the election. According to her, they are given money upfront, stressing that the agency ’s personnel could not be induced with money. The rejection of the money brought a lot of misunderstanding between political parties and the DSS and we hold our heads up.
Lizzy Njideka
G
ist of entrepreneur, innovator and Edmark boss Njideka Lizzy, who was brutally murdered by a younger lover out of jealousy some seeks back, continues to dominate social media with commentators questioning the trend whereby older women are going for younger men. Is it love, sex or money that is responsible for the trend? One debater argues, Nobody gets to choose who he/she can love. Cupid is a capricious god and can even make you fall for someone you feel doesn’t belong to your class. The debates end with the agreement: the bottom line is that you can have a fulfilling and enjoyable relationship with a younger guy, but you both need to understand each other.
Njideka was murdered in July at her Amuwo, Lagos home by long time lover, Kelechi Eze. The suspect not only smoked his lover, he made away with a Range Rover sports and $50,000.
