eteran singer Mike Okri who ruled the airwaves in the late 80s with his chart busting debut LP, “Concert Fever”, may have some scores to settle with his brother, Edi Kriz Okri following the latter’s recent outburst that he’s not proud of the singer. “I and Mike are brothers, but I’m not proud of him,” Kriz declares in a recent chat with WG. He added that the veteran singer is not like the elder brother he used to know in the past.
“Back in the days, when some of these artistes begin to make waves they get involved in spiritual activities to boost their careers.“ Kriz,who has been away from the music scene is staging a comeback with the release of his new album titled “Oshofree.” According to him, one of the tracks in the album, “Chidinma” is about him relaunching himself into the mainstream music world. He lamented that life has not been fair to him since he travelled out of the country in search of greener pastures.

eace is about to return to the troubled Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN, as the union’s National Executive Council,NEC, has set plans in motion to hold general elections that will usher in a new breed of leaders to pilot the affairs of the association. Rising in a one-day meeting of the union’s NEC, which held at White House Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, earlier in the week, the delegates drawn from 24 states of the federation resolved to hold the forthcoming elections on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. The delegates said, the decision was based on strict adherence to the consent judgment that brought about the outgoing Pretty Okaforled Interim National Executive Caretaker Committee of the union. According to PMAN’s NEC, the electoral guidelines for the forthcoming National Delegate Conference would be made public at least two months before the delegates conference proper. The council also, revealed that the compulsory bar-coding of all musical and film works released in Nigeria would commence soon
