415. “Enchanted Tiki Room” Lanai Canvas Sun Tarp. (Disneyland, 1980s) Impressive canvas sun tarp designed for hanging over the pre-show area of the “Enchanted Tiki Room” attraction as well as the “Tahitian Terrace” restaurant. Adorned with silkscreened tiki-style imagery, these tarps were replaced occasionally during regular maintenance and the park kept a supply in reserve. This piece was most likely not installed. Lined with brass grommets for hanging. Measures 14’x31”. In fine condition. $1,500-$2,500 416. “Enchanted Tiki Room” World Premiere Gate Flyer. (Disneyland, 1963) Informative gate flyer for the new “Enchanted Tiki Room” attraction. These flyers were a necessity as the concept of audio-animatronics was so new, that Walt and the Imagineering team felt the public needed help to wrap their heads around the idea. 418. Limited Edition “Enchanted Tiki Room” Central Fountain by Kevin Kidney & Jody Daily. (Disneyland, 2008) Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily limited edition “Enchanted Tiki Room” central fountain with working water. Released in 2008 in an edition of 600 pieces, this particular piece fell into the hands of collector Kevin Doherty who modified it with flowers, additional lights, and a sound chip of the first 2 minutes of the attraction, which can be played from a hidden switch. Changed from battery operation to a wall transformer and switch. The fountain stands 19.5” tall. In fine condition. $600-$800 419. Limited Edition “Enchanted Tiki Room” Barker Bird by Kevin Kidney & Jody Daily. (Disneyland, 2005) Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily limited edition “Barker Bird” from the “Enchanted Tiki Room”. Created as part of Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary celebration, the piece was released in an edition of 1500 pieces. This particular piece has been modified with custom lighting on the perch.
