420. “Ya’ll Come Back” Sign. (Disneyland, 1975-90) A large wooden sign from Disneyland’s “Country Bear Jamboree” attraction. The attraction was sponsored by Wonder Bread from 1975 until 1990, and when the sponsorship ended, this sign was altered to remove the Wonder Bread logo at the top of the sign. The sign reads “Ya’ll Come Back” with the old Wonder Bread logo still partially visible. The sign has holes in both sides for hanging, and measures approximately 15”x66”. The condition is good with some edge-wear and minor scuffing from its original use and removal. $3,000-$4,000
BIG THUNDER RANCH
Nestled in Frontierland was a hidden gem of an attraction called “Big Thunder Ranch”. When the attraction opened in 1986, “Big Thunder Ranch” included a replica log cabin made from actual logs, a petting zoo, and the fan-favorite “Big Thunder Barbeque” restaurant. Over time, the location also became home to various live musical performances, dancing, crafts, and special events such as the “Roundup” which had different variations for each of the four seasons. The attraction closed in January of 2016 to allow for the construction of the new land, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, but remains a fond memory for those who frequented this special location within the park.
421. “Big Thunder Ranch” Springtime Roundup Sign. (Disneyland, 2015) A large display sign from Disneyland’s Springtime Roundup at the “Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree”. This sign features beautiful Spring imagery with the text “Big Thunder Ranch Springtime Roundup” shown prominently. This sign is accomplished in painted burlap within a wood frame and “Roundup” is written in rope. The sign measures approximately 44”x62” and is in very good condition with some expected wear from use. 422. “Roundup Performers Only” Hinged Sign. (Disneyland, c.2015) A hinged display sign from Disneyland’s “Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree”. This sign was displayed on stage and reads “Attention! Ladies and Gentlemen - This Stage is for Roundup Performers Only!”. This wooden sign is hinged along the top-edge and has a chain along the side to keep the sign from opening too far. The entire piece measures approximately 20.5”x24” and is in very good condition with minor wear from use. $500-$700
