The drawings are rough designs for a proposed futuristic automat food service area in Tomorrowland. Accomplished in graphite and ink on untrimmed 12”x10” animation paper. All are in good condition with some creasing and light staining and pinholes in corners. $500 - $1,000
153. HERB RYMAN ORIGINAL RICHFIELD OIL DISPLAY CONCEPT WITH CORRESPONDENCE. (Disneyland, 1955) Beautiful original concept for the Richfield Oil Exhibit in Tomorrowland by legendary Imagineer, Herb Ryman. Accomplished in ink and marker on 12.5”x15.5” animation paper, the concept shows the proposed facade for the exhibit as well as some of the exhibit components. Also included are an internal construction authorization for the exhibit and two pages of correspondence between Scognamillo and Richfield Oil concerning the construction of the signage for the Richfield Autopia as well as concerns about the short amount of time before opening. Drawing is in very good condition with minor wear. $700 - $1,000
