Professor David Owens teaches Innovation and New Product Development to User-Centered Design I and II. He is the former CEO of Griffin Technology and consults with companies such as LEGO, NASA and Nissan USA. His most recent book, Creative People Must Be Stopped, details ways that companies inhibit innovation without really trying.
Professor Jessica Kennedy was the recipient of the 2017 Dean’s Research and Productivity Award.
Professor Mark Cohen, a leading expert on environmental and criminal justice policies, led a research team that advised the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill on ways to improve the safety culture of the offshore drilling industry.
