UNIVERSITY TRANSFER CREDIT Students enrolled in a University program may receive transfer credit for up to 50 percent of their program. Students seeking credit for courses from other institutions will need to submit detailed course outlines and a credit transfer request form. Please note, it can take 2–8 weeks after your request and documents have been received to know the status of your application. Students can find transfer credit resources by looking up courses at viu.ca/calendar or searching the BC Council on Admission and Transfer (BCCAT). POST-DEGREE AND ADVANCED DIPLOMAS In addition to the aforementioned English and academic requirements, Post-degree and Advanced Diplomas also require prior completion of a degree.
