8-month program, part-time The purpose of this program is to prepare the individual for employment as a Hospital Unit Coordinator in a variety of health care settings. It will provide knowledge and training in the medical field including topics such as medical terminology, pharmacology, communications and coordinating physicians’ orders. 12-week program, full-time Students gain theory and application of principles related to decontamination, sterilization, storage and distribution of equipment in a medical device reprocessing area. The program is intended for those who desire to play a critical role in health care and work as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment. 3-month program, full-time Prepares for employment as a Medical Office Assistant in medical offices and specialist offices. Skills may also be transferable to positions in other medical settings.
4-year Degree program Preparation for accreditation through the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) and employment as a Registered Nurse (RN). Not available for international students. 2-year program Learn skills to practice as a Practical Nurse (PN) in acute, extended, intermediate and community care settings.
18-month program or part-time (length varies) Theoretical studies and practical applications for working with people who have disabilities across the lifespan. The core and specialty courses provide the skills and knowledge to work in schools and communities. 2-year program (full-time or part-time) Advanced-level training for working in the social services field.
4-year Degree program (Entry in year 3) Provides social work education that addresses local, national and global needs.
