ou can start thinking about what makeup tones you’re going to wear to welcome the return of sweater and leather weather.
Neutrals look natural, but the key thing is finding your neutral shade, because the right shade, has the power to give your look an instant shot of radiance. To figuring out what neutral shade best flatters you starts with your skin tone, which can be grouped into three categories: warm, cool, and neutral. When determining your skin tone remember It’s not about how light or dark your skin is, people of all skin colors, from very fair to deep, can have cool, warm, or neutral undertones. From warm brown to cool tone greys, here’s is the best neutral colours that go with the skin tones:
If you are WARM tone: Your skin tone: Skin skews yellow, sallow, peachy, or golden. Your neutrals: Taupe, hot chocolate, creamy whites, warm brown, latte. Colors that are tough for you: Icy shades, jeweled tones.
Model: Sunan Spriggs
If you are NEUTRAL tone: Your skin tone: Has no obvious overtones of pink or sallow skin, but rather the skin’s natural color is more evident. Your neutrals: Taupes, grays, off-whites (like vanilla). Colours that are tough for you: Anything too bright or vibrant that can overwhelm, reds and yellows. Simply choose one feature—lips, eyes, or cheeks—and highlight it with your best Neutral tint. After all, whoever said looking natural had to mean blending into the background? n
If you are COOL tone: Your skin tone: Hints of bluish, pink, or a ruddy complexion. Your neutrals: Cool gray, bright white, and navy. Colours that are tough for you: Oranges and yellows.
