OCIO LEISURE del Delfinario. Oceanogràfic is Europe’s largest aquarium and represents the main marine ecosystems on the planet. Each building is dedicated to a different aquatic environment: Mediterranean, Wetlands, Temperate and Tropical Seas, Oceans, Arctic, Antarctic, Islands and the Red Sea, as well as a Dolphinarium.

Valencia is multifaceted city, with something for everyone to enjoy and explore. INTERIOR DOME OF THE CENTRAL MARKET.

City, the otherworldly Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias and of course the beautiful beaches of Las Arenas, Malvarossa and Patacona, which are an absolute must for sun-seeking British tourists. Of course, sampling some food at the Central Market, exploring the vintage shops in Russafa and taking in the hustle and bustle of El Carmen’s bar scene are also unmissable experiences. The IVAM, El Centro del Carmen Cultura Contemporánea, and El Museo Fallero are amongst the best of the 35 museums that are scattered around the city - be sure to immerse yourself in this world of art, culture and traditions.

THE GREEN CITY

PLACES TO EAT

Although Valencia is full of energy, there are sanctuaries amongst the chaos. Take a stroll in the Turia, a 7km long riverbed that has since been transformed into a large urban park, or leisurely enjoy your book in Parc Central, a haven situated next to the trendy area of Russafa. For a genuine retreat, catch the #25 bus to el Palmar and head to the Albufera Lake to soak up some nature. Explore the surrounding national park along one of the many cycle or hiking trails and make sure to take 6 cash to be able to take advantage of a sunset boat ride across the lake – an unforgettable experience.

Valencia’s gastronomic scene is unmatched. Each zone offers something for everyone: in the Old Town, find hidden gems serving delicious food in magnificent settings, in Russafa discover swanky fusion and Michelin starred restaurants amongst laid-back cafes, along the Blasco Ibañéz area try cheaper eats in the trendy student area of the city, and along the beach enjoy the beautiful scenery whilst eating a delicious paella. Be careful where to get your paella though, nearly every restaurant will advertise it, but remember that it is eaten at lunch – ordering it for dinner will get you some strange looks!
