TriBeca Bridge The Tribeca Bridge, completed in 1992, is a footbridge which provides a safe passage for pedestrians crossing the busy and dangerous intersection of West Street (Route 9A) and Chambers Street. The bridge connects Rockefeller Park with Stuyvesant Hight School.

“The Real World”

is an intallation of sculptures created by Tom Otterness in 1992 for Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller Park at the River Terrace. The bronze sculptures feature “animals and people, bankers and robbers, laborers and pilgrims, and predators and prey.” Otterness has replicated the stark contrast of the rich and the poor in our busy society.
