Entry requirements
Minimum 2:1 degree in psychology, Graduate Basis for Chartership with the British Psychological Society, Certificate in Counselling Skills (including 100 hours classroom attendance), experience of working in a one to one helping role.
Standard entry requirements (see page 107) including a minimum of a 2:1 honours degree in Psychology or a closely related discipline.

This course provides students with a critical and contemporary understanding of theory, research and practice in Health Psychology. Emphasis is on the acquisition of transferable practice, professional and employment related skills, and the opportunity to gain course credit through practical work in health psychology settings. For those holding Graduate Basis for Chartership with the British Psychological Society, the MSc provides stage 1 training towards achieving Practitioner Health Psychologist status.

This three-year part-time course provides BPS-accredited Stage 2 training, a doctorallevel education and a professional Health Care Professions Council qualification. Already working in a health setting with agreed release to attend, you’ll be taught by a highly experienced team, to gain the research, training and supervision to advance your career.
