Thank you for taking the time to read our annual review for 2020/21.

In what was yet another challenging year for our community, it never ceases to amaze me how much you care about the college and our shared vision for education. On the occasions where things got tough, we felt reassured by your presence – wherever you were in the world – and it was always clear we could count on your support.

As we begin to emerge from the past 18 months, we are excited about what we can create together. We have a new principal in Naheed Bardai who has brought some ambitious plans with him and an inspiring vision for the college. As ever, we want to use this opportunity to celebrate the Time, the Treasure and the Talent you have generously given to the college. Thanks to the support of our alumni and friends, we have been able to offer even more scholarships compared to last year, and we have also been able to launch the second phase of the seafront programme.

In the meantime, I will leave you with some of this year’s highlights and stories from students about the impact that a UWC education has had on their lives.
