Each college offers specialized advising, research opportunities, and excellent academic experiences designed to help you reach your goals. COLLEGE OF BUSINESS, INDUSTRY, LIFE SCIENCE AND AGRICULTURE

Housing the School of Business and the School of Agriculture, the College of BILSA offers diverse majors that support your development as a leader, researcher, and entrepreneur. Many programs offer emphasis areas and pre-professional paths that allow you to choose what best fits your interests and prepare you for a career in medicine, biotechnology, industrial studies, nursing, zoology, business, and beyond.

COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE

UW-Platteville has been educating engineers for more than 100 years, earning a national reputation of excellence. Our degrees in computer science, cybersecurity, mathematics, and engineering prepare you for careers in growing fields.

College Of Liberal Arts And Education

The College of LAE cultivates both knowledge and awareness of the complexities of nature and human culture. From the prestigious traditions of the School of Education and real-world applications of criminal justice programs to the wide range of performing and visual arts, the College of LAE is the creative center for UW-Platteville and the region.

Tap Into Financial Aid

We encourage you to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form online at https://studentaid.gov. Use the school code 003921. You should fill out the form even if you are not sure that you will qualify for financial aid.

UW-Platteville’s Pioneer Pledge guarantees that the cost of undergraduate, on-campus tuition and fees will be covered for new freshmen who are Pell-eligible (determined by FAFSA), and a resident of Wisconsin, Illinois, or Minnesota.

New freshmen and transfer students from Illinois and Iowa receive a discount on out-of-state tuition through the Tuition Advantage program.

Minnesota-Wisconsin Reciprocity states that eligible residents of Minnesota can attend Wisconsin institutions at the approved reciprocity tuition rate.

Earn While You Learn

Federal Work Study is a federally funded, need-based program, which gives you the opportunity to work on campus part time. Any student can also choose from hundreds of on-campus employment opportunities that are designed just for university students.
