See what steps you’ve already taken and what your next steps might be to stay on track for NSE.

GET STARTED IN PASS

 Complete Intent to Enroll.  Sign up for NSE; visit go.uwplatt.edu/nse-reserve for instructions. • When signing up, choose a date to attend your On-Campus Orientation experience. • You are encouraged to add the names of up to two guests who will attend your On-Campus Orientation with you. • You can add contact information for any family members who want to receive communications about NSE. Log in before your On-Campus Orientation session to edit or add this information.

REGISTER FOR FALL CLASSES

 Complete placement tests. • These must be completed at least two weeks before your advising appointment. • Not completing your placement tests in time will delay your advising and registration appointment.  Complete all required Canvas modules BEFORE meeting with your academic advisor. Reviewing these modules is the best way to prepare for your advising appointment. • Your academic advisor will provide you with information about accessing and completing the Canvas modules.  Meet with your academic advisor to register for classes. • Watch for an email to schedule a registration and advising appointment with your academic advisor. • Your advisor will review your placement test results and what they mean during your advising appointment.

ATTEND ON-CAMPUS ORIENTATION

 Enjoy your time on campus. • Meet new friends. • Learn about campus resources and student involvement. • Participate in interactive sessions about different majors and academic experiences. • Get your photo taken for your Campus Card. • At the end of the day, grab your Campus Card and a cool yard sign. • Parents and guests will also have a full day of activities.  Check out the On-Campus Orientation schedule at go.uwplatt.edu/orientationschedule.

STAY INFORMED

 Access your UW-Platteville email. • Visit go.uwplatt.edu/access-email to learn how to access your UW-Platteville email. • If you have questions about your email account or about setting up Duo Two-Factor Authentication, look for an email sent to your personal email with the subject line, “UW-Platteville Email Access”. • Make sure you check your email often, and read carefully.  Follow us on Instagram @uwplattnse2022 for updates and the chance to win cool giveaways.  Review uwplatt.edu/new-student-experience for more information on all these steps.

WHAT’S NEXT

 Purchase a parking pass (available late June/early July). • If you are planning to bring a car to campus, watch your UW-Platteville email for information on purchasing parking passes.  Sign your Textbook Agreement in PASS (available early August).  Complete the online Mandatory Prevention Course facilitated by the Dean of Students Office.
