Associate professor Gladys MitchellWalthour received a Fulbright Scholar award to conduct research in Brazil. She also received the National Conference of Black Political Scientists’ “Fannie Lou Hamer Outstanding Community Service Award” for engagement and service in the local community and African Diaspora.
