Biology

Biologists study living organisms: how they grow, reproduce, and interact among themselves and with their environment. Regardless of the area of specialization, in modern biology full understanding of a process requires integrating studies at many levels of organization: populations, individual organisms, organ systems, cells, and molecules. Biologists carry out re search in universities, government laboratories, and industry.

Chemistry

Chemistry is the science about substances, their composition, structure, properties, and interactions. Everything is made from one or more chemical elements that occur in nature. Chemists use different kinds of chemical processes to make the elements more useful, and they create countless products that make our lives healthier, easier, and more enjoyable.

Forensic Science Advisor: Dr. nan cy Marcus Bell Hall R oom 113 (747-8027) Forensic workers apply scientific or other specialized knowledge to questions and issues related to the law. Their job duties fall into two basic categories: analyzing evidence and acting as expert witnesses in legal proceedings. Some forensic specialists concentrate primaril y on one of these tasks, although many do both. Proper collection and storage methods are important to protect the evidence. Need a masters Degree.
