ABRIR OPORTUNIDADES En esta ocasión hubo siete talleres gratuitos: Robótica y Energías Renovables, Industria de Entretención Digital, Terremotos y Tsunamis, Aplicaciones de Inteligencia Artificial, Una Mirada Matemática del Mundo, Física Electrónica y Applicaciones Móviles para tus Ideas.
A su vez, Sebastián Lara, del Colegio Santo Domingo de Guzmán, comentó: “Participé en el taller Terremotos y Tsunamis, fue una experiencia súper grata ya que estábamos muy motivados. Fue una excelente experiencia en una de las mejores universidades de Chile”.
Rodrigo Merino, estudiante del Liceo Benjamín Vicuña Mackenna, señaló que “había muchas cosas interesantes, pude reforzar muchos conocimientos de ciencias y matemáticas. Trabajamos mucho en equipo, lo cual nos permitió llevar a cabo nuestro proyecto. Espero estudiar Ingeniería en la USM”
Vicenzo Sessarego, representante de los estudiantes en el cierre del evento, comentó que “todos los participantes hemos pasado por una bonita experiencia. Quiero darle las gracias a los organizadores, profesores y monitores, por darnos esta oportunidad única que nos permite aprender de forma gratuita”.
Cabe destacar que el Campamento STEM promueve una enseñanza integral y gratuita en los futuros estudiantes del país, hecho que resaltó Hugo Alarcón, Director de Enseñanza y Aprendizaje y líder del Pilar 1 de Ingeniería 2030: “hemos realizado esta actividad debido a la responsabilidad que mantenemos con la sociedad y con las dificultades que enfrentaremos a futuro, trabajamos para que estos jóvenes sean esa generación capaz de resolver problemas de gran complejidad”.

Addiotionally, Sebastián Lara, a student at the Santo Domingo de Guzmán High-School, commented: "I participated in the Earthquakes and Tsunamis workshop. It was a very pleasant experience since we were highly motivated. It was an excellent experience in one of the best universities in Chile."
Rodrigo Merino, a student at the Benjamín Vicuña Mackenna High-School, pointed out that "there were many interesting things, I was able to reinforce my knowledge of science and mathematics. We worked a lot in teams, which allowed us to carry out our project. I hope to study engineering at the USM".

a comprehensive and free education for prospective university students, a fact that was highlighted by Hugo Alarcón, Director of the Teaching and Learning Direction and leader of Engineering 2030 Pillar 1: "we have carried out this activity because of our responsibility with society and we have included as topics some of the difficulties we will face in the future. We work so that these young people be a generation capable of solving great-complexity problems".
