FINANCIAL •
Year end 2016 - $10,021. Year End 2017 - $9,678 Year End 2018 $10,814

Growing because membership is growing and also represents many lifetime memberships which are supposed to fund events for 10 years or more.
•
Operating budget about $5,000 a year, funded by membership dues and registry fees. Significant expenditures are the website, UC DAVIS DNA, the registry printing and mailing, members show subsidies and events held.
•
In 2019, we funded 2 planned events so far - August Montana Cavalgada and November Massachusetts Equine Affaire
MEMBERSHIP

2017 83 members
•
2018 104 Members and could go higher.
•
2019 127 Members - but some have not renewed yet so that number might change in April.
•
19 lifetime members, also a new high.
•
Looking for more programs and opportunities to support members in 2019 (and always)
REGISTRY •
Registry Process working well. Randy Conilogue reports the following numbers:

2018 21 New Registrations; 17 Transfers; 2 corrections; 2 duplicates
•
As of March 2019, 2 New Registrations done with 8 more in process; 6 Transfers with 4 more in process; 1 correction; 1 duplicate.

All registration mail is trackable resulting in no lost registrations!

MY GOALS AS USMMA PRESIDENT
■
Ensure the quality and vitality of the Mangalarga Marchador (MM) breed in North America.
■
Grow the membership to over 200 by 2022.
■
Encourage every region to host a MM event in their area.
■
Plan for one annual BIG MM event that moves around the country.
■
Have an organized clinic or cavalgada in 2019.
■
Have fun with our members and our horses.
