Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park -

This place is also known as the Himalayan zoo. This park covers almost 68 acres of space and is located 2134 meters above sea level. This park consists of animals and birds found in less significant areas of the Himalayan region. It is considered the reproduction center of a rare snow leopard, Himalayan wolf as well as a red panda.

Tiger Hill

- This Himalayan hill is also famous as it has the highest railway junctions of the Himalayan Railway line. From here you can get an attractive view of nearby mountain ranges. This place is approx 11 kms away from Chowrasta, from here you can see Sun turning in orange with the first ray of sunlight.

Observatory Hill -

This hill offers a beautiful look at the Kanchenjunga peaks and snow-dressed Himalayan. The famous temple of Mahakal is also situated in Bhutia Busty Monastery. It is the oldest temple in this district. This temple is dedicated to the God of power Lord Shiva. This area is always full of visitors and local people.

Japanese Peace Pagoda

- It is a wonderful building among the famous 30 pagodas that are placed at different locations around the world. These pagodas are the symbol of peace and nonviolence. It was built by Japanese Buddhist Nipponzan, if you have the desire to visit the place then you will have to hire a taxi as it is located on the outskirts.

Singalila National Park -

This Park is located on the crest of Singalila. Here you will find a wide variety of animals like barking deer, Wild Boar, and Pika. This is the special region that is also a popular trekking route to Sandakphu.
