To advance capable, competent, and competitive human resources in the globalization stage, USG Education developed an international study program path with the Singapore Institute of Management Global Education (SIM GE) through the
UICCollege-SIMGEProgram,
DiplomainManagementStudies. This collaboration was launched on September 29, 2022, at the Pullman Hotel in Jakarta and continued with the Media Briefing event at USG Education Pondok Indah Campus in October 2022.
Students will benefit greatly from the UIC College-SIM GE partnership program because it will allow them to study for 15 months in Jakarta, at one of the USG Education campuses, Pondok Indah Campus, and then finish their studies and earn a bachelor ' s degree for 1.5 years in Singapore (*depending on Bachelor program selected).
Through the Singapore Institute of Management program, students can graduate and earn international bachelor ' s degrees as students at the world' s top universities based on their options of university, in Australia, the UK, or the USA. They will get the same education in Jakarta and Singapore, and complete their studies with a standard degree from one of the top universities in the world. "With the same learning system between Jakarta and Singapore, this program is a solution for Indonesian students and parents, " said Reza Suriansha, Director of USG Education.
"Because by joining the UIC College - SIM GE program, they will earn academic qualifications with a teaching model that prepares students for the success of professional life and innovative and practical solutions to challenges so that they can prepare for their future. "
"Compared to the overall calculation of tuition and living costs, students can save approximately 50% compared to students who choose to study directly in their destination country, " Reza added.
Celia Her, Assistant Director for the Student Recruitment Division of SIM GE, stated, "The collaboration with UIC College will enable SIM to open diploma programs to Indonesians and provide opportunities for students to earn their desired bachelor ' s degree in Singapore after graduation. " The first SIM Overseas Teaching Center in Indonesia, UIC College, is expected to run its first intake in April 2023.

SIM’s Global Education—which offers global higher education programmes to learners— recently attained the EduTrust Star certification, on 20 August 2022. The EduTrust Star certification is accorded to private education institutions (PEI) in Singapore for attaining a commendable level of performance in managing their institutions and providing an outstanding quality of education and welfare for their students. It is also a symbolic recognition of outstanding achievement in their field of work. The EduTrust Star certification award is the highest tier of award under the EduTrust Certification Scheme, a quality assurance scheme administered by the Committee for Private Education, part of SkillsFuture Singapore, for PEIs in Singapore.

After completing the 15 months program in Jakarta, students have several options as graduates of world universities when they continue their studies in Singapore, including Australia (RMIT University, University of Wollongong, La Trobe University); the UK (The University of Birmingham, University of London, University of Stirling); and the USA (University at Buffalo, the State University of New York).
