CHAPTER RIGHTS

A chapter has the right to:

1. A timely hearing before a FSLSB Hearing Board. 2. Receive written notice via email of all alleged violations and the time of the scheduled hearing. This will be sent to the chapter president as the spokesperson with 5 business days notice. 3. Have its executive board examine all evidence at the time of the hearing and hear all testimony presented. 4. Have an alumni/alumnae advisor present at the hearing, as an observer. 5. Have a representative from the inter/national organization present at the hearing, as an observer

6. Have its executive board present at the hearing, as observers. 7. Respond to the complaint. 8. A decision based on the evidence presented and supported by a

“preponderance of the evidence” .

9. Receive timely, written notification of the results of the hearing. 10. An appellate review, as outlined below.
