This state-of-the-art facility provides a wide array of experiential learning opportunities for students to cover breaking news on the web and on the air, create high-impact journalism, produce and publish podcasts, and collect and integrate audience analytics.

With its leading-edge capabilities, USC Annenberg’s Media Center allows you to gain hands-on experience in all fields of the news media and to build the multimedia skills necessary to tell stories on every platform. All USC Annenberg majors and students from across the university who want to learn more about writing, podcasting, producing and more can be a part of the student-led media center. You may work as a journalist both as part of your major and as a volunteer, advancing to become a top leader in the newsroom. You also have the opportunity to monitor the social media stream and collect, analyze and integrate data for realtime events, brand communication and campaigns. The media center is overseen by highly skilled USC Annenberg staff and faculty members who have spent years as awardwinning journalists and public relations professionals in all fields of media. Together, they guide you and share teachable moments as you tackle the day’s news and go deeper into topics that matter to the USC community.
