In Loving Memory... Betty Lou Brown Christian of Henderson, Ky., died April 23, 2015. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Associate Bobby Joe Christian, along with her son, Joey Christian, her daughter, Sabrina Farley, and her sister, Beverly Moore. Betty was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Henderson. She enjoyed reading, cooking, music, art and singing with the church choir. She made her associate commitment in 1991 with Maureen Griner her contact companion.

The Young Daughters of Saint Angela (Y-DOSA) group in Whitesville, Ky., had a pinning ceremony on May 3. A Kansas Y-DOSA monthly meeting Kansas Y-DOSA members Carly Pearch, Olivia Vohs and Cindy Reilly delivered a prayer blanket, baby bible and prayers to little Gracie Austin who has been struggling and is home from the hospital with a feeding tube. The Kansas Y-DOSA group helped with the Ursuline Sisters’ May 7 “Kentucky Derby Dinner/Auction in Kansas” fundraiser.
