married the man who was her boyfriend when she was at Ursuline 45 years ago. They had not seen each other in 40 years, but reconnected and married in 2018.

established a business called Fantasy Art by Puppetina, creating fantasy art full-time and selling it at fairy festivals and renaissance festivals.

RN, ’83 MSN, ’17 DNP q was appointed associate professor in the School of Nursing at Hampton University.

Jill Delaney Byrne ’84 RN, MSN, PhD

 was named a HomeGrown Hero by The Plain Dealer in recognition of her patented design of a cooling vest to help surgeons stay cool in stressful situations. Byrne was honored at a reception in November and demonstrated her vest and her innovative thinking to students in a class taught by Laura (Chrow) Goliat ’79 DNP.

Kathy Sabbath Oravecz

‘84, a visual arts faculty member at Fairmount Center for the Arts, was the subject of a Q+A the Center posted on its Facebook page in December 2019. The article noted that Oravecz is a teacherin-residence at the Holden Arboretum, that her watercolors are in collections across the U.S. and the Netherlands, and that she wrote and

illustrated a children’s picture book, “The Frog and the Footbridge.”
