Causes of UTI in females: 1. Bladder infection (cystitis): Causes of UTI in women – One of the most essential organs in the body is the bladder. It regulates water and electrolytes in the blood, as well as storing and reabsorbing waste items from the body. In women, bladder infection (cystitis) is a prevalent problem. Due to the presence of germs, it is a bladder infection that produces inflammation and discomfort. 2. Urinary tract infection (urethritis): In females, urethral infection is a prevalent cause of UTI. It can be caused by bacteria or viruses, and it is typically not detectable until the condition has progressed. Infection of the urethra is a frequent problem that can be caused by a variety of things. 3. Sexual activity: In females, sexual activity has been found to be a cause of UTI. Females have more sexual drive than males, which explains why they are more willing to adapt to some of the practises that lead to UTI. 4. The use of a catheter Female UTI causes - Catheter usage has been linked to the development of UTI in women. Because catheters are used to treat urinary tract infections, they are put into the bladder. The catheter can go from the urethra to the bladder, where it is used to empty urine.
