Faucets Stay Satin Oil-rubbed bronze, polished chrome and polished nickel are all popular finishes for faucets. But satin nickel is the most preferred finish for faucets, rising from 41% last year to 63% in the kitchen and from 45% to 57% in the bathroom. “Satin nickel is the mainstay of faucet finishes,” says Henley, who says oil-rubbed bronze is beginning to wane. “The brushed satin finish

Green Comes Alive When we hear the word green associated with homes we may think of environmentally friendly spaces. But designers think green is the best color to paint a bathroom.
