REBOUND Upswing creates and performs aerial dance for theatre, events, and festivals. In addition to performing on the more commonly used aerial equipment such as silks and hoop and, we have developed specialist expertise in bungee and harness assisted dance techniques for a multitude of environments. A 10 minute light hearted and fast paced show that fuses bungee aerial and hip hop movement, enabling the dancers to float, slide, spin and bounce through the air whilst break dancing and body popping. We are very flexible and can use our expertise to make additions and changes to this performance so that is more bespoke and suitable to the needs of your event. For instance, we can add more performers, change the costumes and music and adapt it to work indoors or outdoors, day or night.
For each bungee dance performance there are some basic technical requirements. These and any additional requirements can be discussed further. If needed an aerial rig can be supplied for indoor or outdoor performance at an extra cost. One structural point needed with access, per aerial performer, of minimum 500kg SWL PA and playback facilities are required We need up to 6m x 6m floor space for 2 performers, 8 x 8m for up to 4 performers. Height of the structural point to the floor or stage must be minimum 6m for bungees.
